My first time on a lime bike!!!
But of course you cannot just leave it anywhere. I am just as thick as pig shit.
Introduction
First Time Using a Lime Bike and It Was Traumatizing.
I decided to go to Chelsea Harbour, which was great. Then foolishly, I decided today would be the first time I ever used a Lime bike. It took me 30 minutes to figure out how to put the stand up. I had to ask for help.
The Ride
Riding around was actually really fun until I hit a main road with four lanes. I was stuck all the way on the left, and Google Maps kept telling me to turn right. How was I meant to cross four lanes without getting absolutely shitfaced and not in a fun way?
I decided my best course of action was to only turn left. Learned this from Top Gear but quickly realized it did not really work, as I would still end up on the road I did not bloody want to be on. Just went round in circles.
Parking Struggles
Then I went the wrong way down a one-way street, and every single speed bump almost made me lose control. At that point, I thought "Enough is enough" and tried to park the bike.
But of course, you cannot just leave it anywhere. I did not want to get back on it, but I still had to find a proper place to park.
Conclusion
It was honestly a bad experience, one I will not be repeating. And now I am on my way to work and not gonna lie I am a little lost. I am on the District Line, but not entirely sure where it is going. In the end, Lime bikes look great and are great, I am just as thick as pig shit.
